Robert Eden

Robert J. Eden Jr., 69, a long time resident of North Ridgeville, passed away following a long illness at his residence, on February 3, 2021. He was born on April 19, 1951 in Cleveland. Robert had a master’s degree in business administration. He worked for a number of proprietary schools as a student financial aid counselor, retiring after 14 years. Robert was a member of the Ohio Student Financial Aid Organization, and enjoyed: spending time with his friends and family, woodworking, and studying history, especially the Civil War. He is survived by: his wife of 45 years Barbara Eden; two sons, Christopher Eden, and Michael Eden; 2 grandsons, Truman Eden and Sasha Eden; 4 nieces; 4 nephews; 5 grandnieces; his sister, Pat Cross; and by his dog, Runway. Robert was preceded in death by: his parents, Robert Sr. and Mayla Eden; and his sister, Pam Paynter. A private family Memorial Mass will be held at St. Peter Catholic Church in North Ridgeville. Rev. Robert Franco, pastor, will celebrate the Mass. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contribution be made to: Holy Family Hospice, 6707 State Rd. Cleveland, Ohio, 44134.
