Robert A. Jakovic II

Robert A. Jakovic II, 23, a long time resident of Lorain County, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on September 3, 2021. He was born July 22, 1998 in Westlake. Robert graduated from North Ridgeville High School in 2016. He enjoyed: music, singing, song writing, playing guitar, and reading especially Intellectual History books. Robert was a former member of the Lorain County Civil Air Patrol. He is survived by: his parents, Brian and Toni Nelson; his father, Robert A. Jakovic I; four siblings, Brandon, Adam, Meredith, and Christian; his grandparents, Denise Borisa, Sue Zeleny, and William and Tammy Ames; his great grandmother, Margaret Jancy. He was preceded in death by: his grandparents, William Borisa, George Jakovic, James and Georgia Nelson. Robert's grandfather, Bill Zeleny passed away on Monday September 6, 2021. The family welcomes friends to join them at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville on Monday September 13, 2021 from 4pm to 6pm. A private family service will be held. Pastor Neal Nemeth of Hope Christian Church in Avon will officiate. Burial will be at Ridgeville Cemetery in North Ridgeville.
