Robert W. Wohleber Sr., 74, a resident of Elyria, formerly of North Ridgeville, passed away peacefully at his residence, on Tuesday, December 16, 2025. He was born June 6, 1951, in Elyria. Robert was a truck driver for over 40 years before retiring and received an award for driving 1,000,000 miles with no accidents. He enjoyed fishing, gambling, watching westerns, and cooking for his family. Robert was a member of the Columbia Station Eagles. He is survived by his two children, Robert Wohleber Jr. (Sue), and Tina Stewart (James); two grandsons, Devon (Hannah), and Joshua (Maria); four siblings, Earl Wohleber, Nancy Dyer, Rick Wohleber, and Tom Wohleber (Carol); and many nieces and nephews. Robert was preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, Kay Wohleber; and four siblings. The family welcomes friends to join them on Monday, December 29, 2025, from 5pm to 7pm, with the service beginning at 7pm, at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Rev. Chuck Behrens will officiate. Robert will be laid to rest at Columbia Township Cemetery (Route 82) in Columbia Station, on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at 12pm.
