Roger J. Hoy

Roger J. Hoy, 78 of North Ridgeville passed away peacefully on March 19, 2020 at home, surrounded by his loving family.  Roger was born on January 23, 1942 in Cleveland.  He was a 46 year resident of North Ridgeville.  Roger was a proud graduate of both John Marshall High School and Ohio University.  He was a veteran of the US Airforce and an active member of VFW Post #9871 in North Ridgeville.  He loved his family and he never missed either of his daughters’ softball games or band performances. Roger J. Hoy was the; Devoted Husband of Veronica (nee Duffin) for 46 years; Loving Father of Kelly and Nicole (Kelson); Loyal G-Pa to Tramp, FeFe and Dixie; Caring Brother-in-law to Michael, Roger and Laura; Wonderful Uncle to the Hoy Boys and Duffin Kids; Friend of Many.  Private funeral services will be held with burial at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.  Members from the Color Guard from VFW Post #9871 in North Ridgeville will conduct military honors at the cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to Cleveland Clinic Hospice.
