Ronald James Boyd

Ronald James Boyd, 40, a life long resident of Lorain County, passed away unexpectedly in Hudson on November 3, 2021. He was born on June 30, 1981, in Morgantown, West Virginia. Ronald was a graduate of North Ridgeville High School. For the past several years, he worked as a farm hand, tending to horses. Ronald loved animals, enjoyed being outdoors, camping, being a survivalist and building model cars. He is survived by: his parents, Ron D. Kennedy and Catherine M. Boyd; two siblings, Louis Smith, and Catherine Smith; three aunts, Betty (Tim), Jamie Boyd (Aprelle), and Rebecca Brewster, his uncle, Roy Kennedy; and many nieces and nephews. Ronald was preceded in death by: his step-father, Dana W. Muncey; his grandparents, Jim and Betty Boyd, and Ralph and Ruth Kennedy; his aunt, Renee Kennedy; and his two uncles, Rex Kennedy, and Ryan Kennedy. The family welcomes friend to join them on Thursday November 11, 2021 from 6pm to 8pm at the Cathedral of Life Church, 5375 Jaycox Rd, North Ridgeville, OH 44039. The funeral service will be Friday November 12, 2021, at 11am. Pastor Mike Payne will officiate. Burial will be held at Ridgeville Cemetery, in North Ridgeville.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to help with funeral expenses.
