Rose A Ortosky

Rose A. Ortosky, 61, of North Ridgeville, passed away following a brief illness on Monday July 15, 2019 at Ames Family Hospice in Westlake. She was born in Cleveland on August 25, 1957. Rose was a life-long resident of North Ridgeville and was a graduate of North Ridgeville High School. Rose was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in North Ridgeville. She was employed as the president’s secretary for the Ferragon Corporation for 35 years. Rose enjoyed going to bingo and casinos. She also loved chocolate, bowling with her sister Paula, and spending time with her family, especially her great nephews and nieces. She is survived by; her brother, Philip Ortosky (Lori Whitaker); sister-in-law, Bobbie Ortosky; two nephews,Ryan (Amanda), and Rob (Jenny); three great nieces and nephews, Michael, Alaric, and Aria; and by her close friends, Sandy Bobish, Kathy Bobish, and Patty Bobish. Rose was preceded in death by; her sister, Paula Ortosky; and by her parents Michael and Veronica Ortosky. The family welcomes friends to join them Wednesday July 24, 2019 from 4 to 7pm with a prayer service beginning at 7pm at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd., (at Stoney Ridge Rd.), North Ridgeville. The Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday July 25, 2019 at 10am at St. Peter Catholic Church, 35777 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville.  Rev. Andrew Hoover will celebrate the Mass.  Burial will be at St. Peter Cemetery in North Ridgeville.
