Russell M. Knapp, 92 1/2, a resident of Olmsted twsp., passed away peacefully at Southwest Hospice, in Strongsville, on Wednesday, June 1, 2022. He was born January 29, 1930, in Cleveland. Russell attended Olmsted Falls Schools. He was a veteran of the United States Army, and a cement truck driver for Westview Concrete for 35 years. Russell enjoyed riding his Harley, being a wood worker, telling stories, and was a big family man. When Russell had free time, he often spent it out at his son Alan's cabin in Southern Ohio. He is survived by his five children, Randy (Cindy), Jeff (Lynn), Penny (Garry), Todd (Cindy), and Dawn (Troy); his daughter-in-law, Robin; 11 grandchildren, Jenny, Kara, Amber, Nathan, Joe, Dustin, Rachel, Heather, Holly, Matthew, and Ashley; many great grandchildren; and his brother, Jack. Russell was preceded in death by his loving wife of 47 years, Lucille; three children, Alan, Michelle, and Scott; two grandchildren. Christopher, and Brandon; and many brothers and sisters. Per Russell's wishes, there will be no services.
