Sally S. Spiesz (nee Kellogg), 86, of North Ridgeville, passed away Wednesday February 14, 2024 at Ames Family Hospice in Westlake, following an unexpected illness. She was born in Pekin, Illinois on June 1, 1937 and was a graduate of Pekin Community High School. Mrs. Spiesz had resided in North Ridgeville since 1991, and prior to that she resided in Bay Village. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and she loved her role as a homemaker. Mrs. Spiesz also enjoyed playing cards, arts and crafts, and bowling. She is survived by: her two sons, Jeffrey Spiesz (Stephanie) of North Ridgeville and Darrin Spiesz (Tera) of Aurora; her grandchildren, Daniel Spiesz (Jamie), Shauna Ertle (Max), Amanda Luciano (John), Jonathan Spiesz (Erika) and Emerson Spiesz; and eight great grandchildren, Cole, Kyler, Ellie, Weston, Hudson, Aurora, Addison, and August. She was preceded in death by: her husband of 66 years, Edwin L. Spiesz on October 12, 2023; her parents, Fredrick and Florence (nee Hogan) Kellogg; her sister, Karen Brady; and her brother, Scott Kellogg. A private family committal service will be held on Wednesday February 21, 2024 at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville.
