Sharon K. Peters (nee Lamb), 72, of Port Charlotte, Florida, passed away April 10, 2026 at HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital in Port Charlotte, following a lengthy illness. She was born June 12, 1953 in Tanner, West Virginia. Sharon had resided in Florida for the past 18 years, and previously, she lived in Grafton for over 20 years. She was a Licensed Practical Nurse and a graduate of the Sandusky School of Nursing. She worked for many years at the Northridge Health Center in North Ridgeville. Sharon was a former member of North Eaton Baptist Church, a former member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post #9871 in North Ridgeville, and a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Sharon K. Peters is survived by: her husband of 55 years, William “Willy” Peters; her son, Noah Gill-Peters of Port Charlotte, Florida; three grand daughters, Shelby Peters, Wendi Mastrantoni, and Jessica Fields; one grandson, Kenny Freistuhler; several great grandchildren; and her twin siblings, William Dale Lamb of MA, and Nancy Gayle Kuhn (Thomas) of Grafton. She was preceded in death by: her daughter, Melissa Peters in 2007; her son, Jason Peters in 2016; her step-daughter, Pamela Osborn in 2023; three siblings, Steve and Donald Lamb and Barbara Menefee; and her parents, William and Frances (nee McNemar) Lamb. The family will receive friends on Friday April 17, 2026 from 5 to 7pm at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. The Funeral Service will be Saturday April 18, 2026 at 10:30am at the funeral home with Pastor David Swartz officiating. Burial will be at Butternut Ridge Cemetery in Eaton Township.
