Sharon R. Reyes (nee Putt), 80, of Columbia Station, passed away peacefully on Friday May 8, 2026 at Southwest Residential Hospice in Strongsville.  She was born April 13, 1946 in Lakeview, Michigan.  Sharon had resided in Columbia Station for many years. Sharon loved working! She retired after 30 years from Columbia Local Schools as a bus driver.  For the past 25 years she has enjoyed working at Columbia Hills Country Club as a hostess at the half-way house on the 9th hole, and she was there just two weeks before her death. She also enjoyed crafts and spending time with her family. Sharon Reyes is survived by: her two daughters, Renee Faulkner and Jody Elek; four grandchildren, Megan Faulkner, Steven Elek, Morgan Elek, and Anthony Elek; four great-grandchildren; four sisters, Pam, Susie, Patty, and Tracey; three brothers, David, Johnny, and Scott; and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by: her beloved husband, Miguel “Mike” Reyes in 2023; her mother, Betty Rowan (nee Pappas); and her father, Raymond Putt.  The family will receive friends on Friday May 15, 2026 from 2 to 6pm at the Liston Funeral home, 36403 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville.  Mike and Sharon’s urns will be buried together privately at Columbia Township Cemetery, on Royalton Road in Columbia Station, where a prayer of love will be recited, as the family sends them off together.
