Stella G. Thompson

Stella G. Thompson (nee Meadows), 90, a longtime resident of North Eaton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Ohman Family Living at Blossom, in Huntsburg. She was born March 25, 1934, in Hix, West Virginia. Stella loved spending time with her grandchildren. She worked for Seaway Bolt & Specials in Columbia Station for 25 years before retiring. Stella is survived by two sons, Doug (Linda) Thompson, and Greg (Dimitra) Thompson; six grandchildren, Douglas, David, Daniel, Maria, Sarah, and Jonathon; and 16 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, Earl Thompson; five sisters, Geneva, Ella Mae, Norma, Blanche, and Burnice; and her brother, James Dallas. The family welcomes friends to join them on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, from 11am to 11:45am, with the service beginning at 11:45am, at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd., (at Stoney Ridge Rd.), North Ridgeville. Doug Modic will officiate. Stella will be laid to rest at Butternut Ridge Cemetery in Eaton Township following the service.
