Ted D. "Theo" Kruse

Ted D. “Theo” Kruse, 69, of North Ridgeville, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, March 17, 2024. He was born November 27, 1954, in Cleveland. Theo was an admirer of old cars, particularly the Ford Mustang. He was fortunate in his life to own several and enjoyed his time in the garage fixing them up. He was also a proud boat owner and spent several summers at the Cedar Point Marina where he made many great friends and earned the nickname, Captain. Theo leaves behind his loving wife of seven years, Dianne Maupin; two children, Sara Drake (Chris), and Jason Kruse (Lisa); two stepchildren, Mike (Hannah), and Zane (Andrea); two granddaughters, Macy, and Natalie; three step grandchildren, Edison, Emery, and Kai; his two brothers, Dave (the Late Mae Beth), and Ron (Margie); and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ted and Mary Kruse of Parma. The family welcomes friends to join them on Friday, March 22, 2024, from 4pm to 7pm, at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd., (at Stoney Ridge Rd.), North Ridgeville. Theo donated often to the North Ridgeville Community Care, and in lieu of flowers, the family would like memorial contributions to be made in his honor.
