Terry L Burke

Terry L. Burke, 72, a long-time resident of North Ridgeville, passed away peacefully at his residence on Saturday April 18, 2020. Terry was born in Lakewood on October 8, 1947. He was raised in Columbia Station and was a graduate of Columbia High School. Terry was a family man and a car fanatic, who loved life and the simple things. He always had a smile on his face and a kind word for everyone. He was a veteran of the US Navy ans served during the Vietnam war from 1968 - 1973. Terry was a member of the Columbia Station VFW Post #9340. Terry is survived by: his wife of 50 years, Nadine Burke (nee Kibbe); three children, Elizabeth Burke, Cheryl Miller (William), and Jennifer Burke (Chuck); two grandchildren, Jessica Miller, and Joseph Stump; two great grandchildren, Liana Burke, and Elijah Thompson; one sister, Holly Brown; and by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by: his parents, Ed and Thelma (nee Lewis) Burke; and by a grandson, Steven Burke. A graveside service will be held Wednesday April 22, 2020 at 12 noon at Fields Cemetery in North Ridgeville. Pastor David Swartz will officiate.
