Terry M. Vaughn, 77, of Westlake, went to be with the Lord on Friday February 25, 2022 at St. John Medical Center in Westlake. He was born May 1, 1944 in Marietta, Ohio and had resided in Westlake for many years. He was a 1962 graduate of Southern Noble High School in Dexter City, Ohio. Terry went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in History from Ohio University and his master’s degree in Vocational Rehabilitation from Kent State University. Terry owned his own executive search business, T. M. Vaughn Co. Prior to that he worked at International Search Consultants and National City Bank. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Westlake and of the Cleveland Yachting Club. Terry enjoyed boating, fishing, US History and Government. He loved the Lord, his family and his friends. He was liked by all who knew him. Terry was fun loving, entertaining, generous, very bright and witty and he could find humor in all situations. Terry M. Vaughn is survived by: his wife of 49 years, Paulette (nee Leimkuehler); his daughter, Megan McKenney (Jason) of Westlake; his son, Michael Vaughn (Shannon) of North Ridgeville; four grandchildren, Leah, Max, Roan, and Cai; and his sister, Joy Jacobs (Duane) of Canton. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack W. and Mary (nee Haines) Vaughn. The family will receive friends on Wednesday March 2, 2022 from 12 noon until the time of the funeral service at 1:00pm at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Road (at Stoney Ridge Road), North Ridgeville. Pastor Steve Strong from Grace Baptist Church in Westlake will officiate the service. Burial will be at Lakewood Park Cemetery in Rocky River. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
