Thomas F. Petrie

Thomas F. Petrie, 78, a long time resident of North Ridgeville, passed away following a long illness, on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at the Northridge Health Center, in North Ridgeville. He was born August 15, 1943, in Cleveland. Thomas graduated from Willoughby South High School in 1962.  Thomas worked for United Airlines, and was the owner and operator of Insta-Graphics in North Ridgeville. He enjoyed watching tv and old movies, listening to music, and taking care of his pets. Thomas is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Alice Petrie (nee Plocica); four children, Andrea (John), Audrey (Andre), Melissa, and Michael; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren; his brother, Frank (Julie), his nephew, Alex (Stephanie), and his niece, Lea. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Stephanie, and his brother, Donald. A private family graveside service will be held at a later date at All Souls Cemetery, in Chardon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to an animal rescue shelter of your choice.
