Timothy Raymond Banks, 35, a lifelong resident of Elyria, passed away unexpectedly at University Hospitals of Elyria on April 23, 2022. He was born in Westlake on January 7, 1987. Tim graduated from Elyria High School. He worked as a pizza delivery driver for Dominos and was the singer for his band, Idle Hour. Tim was very proud of his band and the fact he had opened for: Orgy, Mushroomhead, Green Jelly, Tantric, and Bobaflex. He enjoyed: playing video games, going to Cedar Point, swimming, sports, especially football and baseball, listening to music, playing music, karaoke, rescuing strays, and taking care of his dog baby, Xena. He is survived by: his mother, Lorraine Jackson of Elyria; his sister, Angela Banks of Lorain; his brother-in-law, David Frye of Lorain; his niece and nephew, Verona Frye, and Layne Frye; his grandparents, Barry and Antoinette Turner of Brunswick, and Scott and Jessica Ference of Seven Hills, and Jeff and Lisa Cox of Streetsboro. Tim was preceded in death by: his father, Raymond Banks of Elyria; his grandparents, Eric and Jean Cuttiford of Elyria; and his Aunt, Gina Ference of Solon. Tim was a very generous person and helped others when ever he could. The family welcomes friends to join them on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, from 5pm to 8pm at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd., (at Stoney Ridge Rd.), North Ridgeville. The service will be held Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at 11am. Burial will be held at Ridge Hill Memorial Park in Amherst. Pastor John from Beyond the Walls Church in Elyria will officiate.
