Trenna L. Tawney

Trenna L. Tawney, 78, of Elyria, passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday September 26, 2025.  She was born June 19, 1947 in Seth, West Virginia, and was a resident of Elyria for many years.  She worked in data processing for a railroad.  Trenna enjoyed dancing, baking, and arts and crafts. She was a dog lover and an avid fan of General Hospital.  Trenna Tawney is survived by: her daughter, Deona Pipper (Cody) of Elyria; her son, David Tawney (Autumn Sabin) of Elyria; two grandchildren, Brody and Giuliana; and her Yorkie, Max.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Harold and Velma (nee Jones) Tawney.  A private family graveside service will be held at Butternut Ridge Cemetery in Eaton Township.  Pastor David Swartz will officiate.
