Wilma J. Workman (nee Kouns), 92, of North Ridgeville, passed away at her residence on Saturday October 1, 2022. She was born September 26, 1930 in Eunice, West Virginia. Mrs. Workman had resided in North Ridgeville since 1967 and was dedicated to taking care of her family and her home. She was a former member of North Ridgeville Baptist Church and of T.O.P.S. (weight loss group). She enjoyed her grandchildren, gardening, canning and walking with her friends. Wilma J. Workman is survived by: two sons, Jerry Workman (Lori) of Amherst and Paul Workman (Barbara) of Grafton; her daughter, Pamela Poland of North Ridgeville; five grandchildren, Justin Workman, Ashley Workman, Christopher Poland, Shelby Workman and Matthew Workman; one brother, Joseph “J. P.” Kouns (Nancy) of Creston; and one sister, Pamela Daniels (Grover) of Whitesville, West Virginia. She was preceded in death by: her husband, Paul in 2003; her parents, Clayton and Iona (nee Broome) Kouns; four brothers, Lewis, J. R., Boyd and Charles Kouns; and one sister, Belva Kiser. The family will receive friends on Wednesday October 5, 2022 from 4 to 7pm at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd., (at Stoney Ridge Rd.), North Ridgeville. The funeral service will be Thursday October 6, 2022 at 12 Noon at the funeral home. Pastor David Swartz will officiate the service. Burial will be at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Avon.
