Values begin at home. Bob and Renee work, live and have raised their family at the funeral home. Their oldest child Curtis, a graduate of Lorain County Community College, is in the US Air Force and is currently stationed at Ramstein Air Force Base in Ramstein, Germany working in the area of radio frequency transmissions. Curtis married Jessica (nee Grasmueck) on January 10, 2014 in Germany and the entire Liston Family was able to attend the ceremony. Their daughter, Amy, is a student at Bethel College in Indiana where she is majoring in American Sign Language. A gifted singer and actress she has participated in many productions at The Olde Town Hall Theater in North Ridgeville. Renee keeps busy taking care of the needs of both their family and the families served at Liston Funeral Home.

Bob was raised in Columbia Station, just a few miles from the funeral home, and has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer for 30 years. In purchasing the Liston Funeral Home he fulfilled a lifelong dream of serving people by caring for them when they most need compassion, direction and respect.
Bob is an active member of Grace Baptist Church of Westlake where he serves as the pianist for the worship team. He is also a member of the Rotary Club of North Ridgeville, and is on the Board of Directors of North Ridgeville Community Care.
Renee grew up in North Olmsted. She is a graduate of Wheaton College in Wheaton, Illinois and of Case Western Reserve University School of Law. Since she and Bob purchased the funeral home in 2001 she has assisted in the day-to-day operations including a large portion of the behind-the-scenes work.
Renee is an active member of Grace Baptist Church of Westlake where she is involved in the children's ministry.
Jill Cook (nee Whitty) is Bob Liston's niece and has worked at Liston Funeral Home since 2002. She received her funeral director's license in 2013. Jill grew up in North Ridgeville and she and her husband Tim (a North Olmsted police officer) have resided in Elyria for 23 years.
She is an active member of New Community Baptist Church in North Ridgeville and volunteers in the children's ministry at Faith Baptist Community Center in Cleveland.
Dave was raised in North Olmsted and has lived in North Ridgeville for 37 years. He has worked at American Greetings Corporation for 45 years in the Information Services Division. Dave and his wife Karen have 4 grown children and 5 grandchildren.
He attends North Olmsted Evangelical Friends Church and is active in the music, missions, and the Senior care ministries. He is also the Collection Manager for Operation Christmas Child at Friends Church.
Dave is an ordained minister through World Christianship Ministries of Fresno, California and is the Pastor and Founder of Christian Service Ministries in North Ridgeville.
Rosalie is an accomplished musician and served over 50 years as a local church organist. She is a retired Avon Schools Home Economics teacher; and she and her husband Jim are long-time residents of Elyria.
Rosalie is an active member of Washington Avenue Christian Church in Elyria and the Order of the Eastern Star.
