Donna M (Boiani) Roode

Donna M. Roode (nee Boiani), 62, of North Ridgeville, passed away unexpectedly at her residence on Saturday July 18, 2015.  She was born August 9, 1952 in Cleveland.  Donna had been a North Ridgeville resident for 20 years.  She was a graduate of Nazareth High School in Parma and of the Grace School of Cosmetology.  Donna was a hairdresser and she worked for many years at several local nursing homes in their beauty salons.  She enjoyed gardening, flowers, cooking and spending time with her children.  She is survived by one daughter, Tiffany Roode of North Ridgeville; one son, Derek Roode of Sheffield Lake; three brothers, Dennis Burns (Vicki) of Pensacola, FL, Daniel Boiani of San Antonio, TX, and Donald Boiani of Parma Heights; two sisters-in-law, Darla Boiani of Parma and Rita Boiani of Parma Heights; and by many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Albo and Ann (nee Simunovich) Boiani; by one brother, David Boiani; and by her former husband, John Roode.  The family will receive friends on Friday July 24, 2015 from 5 to 8pm at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Road (at Stoney Ridge Road), North Ridgeville.  The funeral service will be Saturday July 25, 2015 at 2:00pm at the funeral home.  Pastor Daryl Neipp will officiate.
