Clem Vanover, 73, of Olmsted Township, passed away Wednesday, September 6, 2017. Clem was born on July 18, 1944 in Valley Creek, Tennessee. He resided in Olmsted Township for all of his adult life. Clem worked in the Service Department for the City of North Olmsted for thirty years and retired from there in 1997. He enjoyed fishing, garage sales and flea markets and he was a car enthusiast, enjoying cars of all types and eras. Clem is survived by his wife of fifty years, Mary Ann (nee Riolo); daughter Kim McFarland (Jim) of North Olmsted; three grandchildren, Brittany and Brandon McFarland and Christopher Vanover and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son Clem Alan; two brothers; three sisters and his parents, Susie and Charlie Vanover. The family will receive friends from 4-7pm, Sunday, September 10, 2017 at Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd. (at Stoney Ridge Rd.), North Ridgeville. Funeral Services will be at the funeral home on Monday, September 11 at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Bonnie Sliva will officiate. Burial will be at Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Olmsted Falls.
