Pauline "Pat" (Black) Kimberly

Pauline “Pat” Kimberly (nee Black), 83, of Elyria, passed away Tuesday March 28, 2017 at O’Neill Health Care in North Ridgeville, following a lengthy illness.  She was born July 14, 1933 in Lorain and was a life-long resident of Lorain County.  She was a homemaker.  Mrs. Kimberly enjoyed fishing, cooking and collecting cook books.  Her greatest joy was to spend time with her beloved family.  She is survived by; two daughters, Sherri Whisman (Kevin) of Elyria and Kimberly Mateka (Dave) of Sheffield Lake; two sons, Joe Smith (Debbie) of North Ridgeville and Jim Smith (Carlene) of Pittsfield, MA; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and by one great-great grandson.  She was preceded in death by; her husband, Robert Kimberly in 1997; two daughters, Linda Spalding and Kathy Harmon ; a grandson, Bryan Harmon; a brother, Frank Black Jr.; and by her parents, Frank and Doris (nee Kindig) Black.  The family will receive friends on Thursday March 30, 2017 from 6 to 8pm at the Liston Funeral Home, 36403 Center Ridge Rd., (at Stoney Ridge Rd.), North Ridgeville.  The funeral service will be Friday March 31, 2017 at 11:00am at the funeral home.  Pastor Lenny Bush will officiate.  Burial will be at Resthaven Memory Gardens in Avon.
